1Pizza Dough
4ouncesAmerican Cheese
4ouncesProvolone Cheese
4ouncesCheddar Cheese
1smallOnion
1smallTomato
1/4cupKetchup
2tbspMustard
1tspPickle Juice
1tbspButtermelted
Instructions
Preheat an oven to 425 degrees.
Start with the ground beef. Brown 80-20 ground beef (½ pound) in a pan with a grapeseed oil (1 tbsp). Break up the ground beef as it cooks. Add a little pinch of salt and pepper as it finishes and has lost most of its pink color. Take it off the heat and drain the beef on paper towels and set aside while we get our other pizza toppings ready.
Grate, slice or dice white American Cheese (4 ounces) Provolone Cheese (4 ounces) and Shredded Cheddar Cheese (4 ounces).
Dice an Onion (2 tablespoons) about half of a small onion, and dice a small plum tomato (2 tablespoons).
MAKE THE PIZZA BURGER SAUCE
Add ketchup (¼ cup) and Yellow Mustard (2 tablespoons) to a mixing bowl. Stir these condiments together with Pickle Juice (1 teaspoon) and the burger sauce is ready to go.
ASSEMBLE THE PIZZA
Working quickly, start by laying out the pizza dough on a floured paddle or on a pizza screen. A pizza screen works really well with this recipe.
Ladle the Burger sauce (⅓ cup) onto the pizza dough and then brush the edges of the dough with melted butter.
Start adding the cheeseburger pizza toppings. Ground Beef (8 ounces), American Cheese (4 ounces), Provolone Cheese (4 ounces) and Cheddar Cheese(4 ounces).
Finish topping the pie with diced onions (2 tablespoons) and diced tomatoes (2 tablespoons).
Put the topped pizza in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let stand for 3 to 4 minutes before slicing.
