How To Make Jimmy John's Original Italian Sub At Home

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 4 oz Genoa salami
  • 4 oz capicola ham
  • 4 oz provolone cheese
  • 1 cup Lettuce tomato, onion
  • 4 tbsp Italian dressing

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise, and place it on a baking sheet.
  • Lay the Genoa salami and capicola ham on top of the bottom half of the bread.
  • Place a few slices of provolone cheese on top of the meats.
  • Top the cheese with lettuce, tomato, and onion.
  • Drizzle Italian dressing over the vegetables.
  • Place the top half of the bread on top of the sandwich.
  • Bake the sandwich for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
  • Remove the sandwich from the oven, and slice it into individual portions. Serve immediately.
