Juicy Turkey Burger Recipe

AKA The Best Turkey Burger I Ever Made! Turkey burgers do not have to be dry and boring. The secret is butter!

  • Griddle or cast iron pan

Ingredients

For The Burgers

  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Poultry seasoning
  • 6 tablespoons Butter

For the Onions

  • 1 large White onion
  • 1 tablespoon Grapeseed oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

For The Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika

For The Toppings

  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  • Freeze the butter stick for 3 minutes. The combine then combine the ground turkey, seasonings and shredded butter. Mix well with your hands or a spoon to make sure the butter is distributed evenly. Divide the mix into 2 large patties. Place in the refrigerator while you grill the onions.
  • Sauté the onions until nicely caramelized or well browned.
  • Make the burger sauce by mixing the ingredients in a small bowl. Keep refrigerated until ready for use.
  • Heat a pan to medium heat, about 325 degrees. Place the burgers in the pan and grill each side for 10 minutes or until an instant read thermometer reads 165 degrees.
  • Assemble your burgers and enjoy.
